Situated in a predominantly Muslim area with high poverty, the school stands almost unique in the locality for being open to everybody irrespective of religion and gender. As such, it is a beacon of tolerance and love for the surrounding community and provides a much needed window into Christian teachings for Ghana's poor and neglected.
The school is sponsored by the Society of African Missions (S.M.A), which has dedicated itself to primary evangelization among the less privilege and most abandoned of Africa and of African origin.
The S.M.A fathers have always believed that evangelization must go hand by hand with education. Thus their continual concern and commitment to human rights, education and promotion of environmental care.
